DR - Saludos, Saludos, Vengo a Saludar!

Hey outside world!

Q9: DR reporting from San Francisco de Macoris. We are in the DR-- safe, sound and WARM. We've begun our full first day of ministry with Pastor Gabriel and the congregation here and have already learned that nothing really goes as planned in the DR (... or in general). Despite not running with the original plan of ministry on the university campus here, we've had an amazing opportunity to already make some great friends here, practice and develop some new skits, songs and stomp routines, walk and experience the beautiful city and even more beautiful people and (just as important) eat some home-cooked Dominican food! GOD IS GOOD!
We miss you all and can't thank you enough for your prayers!
we gotta run!

Love,
your kids

I just want to encourage all of you by letting you know that there is an army of prayer warriors back here in New England praying for all of you. God is going to be using you guys during this trip to reach people that none of us can, HOW AWESOME IS THAT! Praise God that He crosses boarders and oceans and languages! Keep serving God and rejoice, have fun!

What up Q9? This is Jon from Q8. I am happy to know that your trip did not get delayed. Mike D have a great time and Im sure Mr Mc Mahon and the rest of the media class misses you and your wise comments in the class. To all of you... have a great time down there and try to focus on God this week and what he is doing both in your lives and the lives of the many people around you. Make sure to have fun and keep a journal to remember all the great experiences you are experiencing. I have found it is great to look back. Have a life changing week. God bless.

Questies!!!
This is going to be such an amazing experience for all of you!

It's great to have the opportunity to be a part of Quest, but don't get the idea that you need this particular experience to encounter God. Keep in mind, the God you'll encounter there is the same God you can encounter daily in your own personal quiet times.

He's going to be doing incredible things in you this week. Allow yourselves to be spoken to, and trust me..it's a lot easier to submit to Him and His call than try and resist. ;)

If you get the chance, take a look at 1 John 3:18; and if Rob hasn't already pronounced his love for Romans 12: 1-2, I also encourage you to look at those verses, and take them to heart.

You're all in my prayers!

Shoutouts to John, Josh, and Ashley. love you all. =]
Robby Bobby - I couldn't ask for a better spiritual father, and I know you'll serve as a great example for the kids this week. love you.

Hello Rob, Josh and John. Glad to hear that God is doing good things already. I pray your faces shine like Moses did and that everybody you meet see the glory of God in each and every one of you. FYI it's 16.7 outside right now in Connecticut. Enjoy the nice weather. God bless and keep you all safe.

Good Morning Quest 9. Thought you might like to hear what the temp & wind chill is from around New England.

Providence: 21/14
Hartford: 21/14
Worcester: 14/-1
Manchester NH: 16/14
Portland: 14
Brattleboro: 14
Bangor: 4
Mount Washington Summit: -17/-56

As I sat in front of my fireplace this morning and noticed how the fire illuminated the room, I couln't help but remember Psalm 119:105,"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path".

I pray that your the Lord's light will continue to shine in each of you as you serve.

To Kevin and Ashley. I am proud of both of you and can't wait to hear how God is using you in His Service.

Stay Cool (we certainly are)
