hola guapos

Hello from the Time Center. The DR team just finished up a really long day, we're heading to bed, getting some much needed rest before our last day of ministry tomorrow. We've spent the last two mornings and afternoons amongst our friends in the village of Cercadillo. Our students played for countless hours in the heat of the day with groups of 30-40 children at a time. You would be so delighted to see how our students showed the love of Christ and hugged and loved on SO many kids. In the afternoons, we spent time teaching English to a group of teens fromthe village and then split up by gender-the boys played Four-Square while the girls made a sand-art candle.

Our students have had sevreal opportunities to share about their spiritual journies, with testimonies last night at Emanuel Church youth group. Today the team presented their cardboard testimonies, which you will see at the Celebration on Saturday. We are digging deep into the Letter to the Philippians, being challenged by the life and ministry of Paul. Tomorrow we will spend time with the Cercadillo women in the morning, and in the evening lead the youth group with our friends at Emanuel. Please pray that we press on. Much love to our friends across the world! We can't wait to see you all very soon and hear about your experiences!! -sb

Dear D. R. Team,

Great work, I know how much fun and also how exhausting a full day at Cercadillo can be but, also the most rewarding experience you can have with the wonderful n loving children there. Those smiles n how they love to sing.

I'm looking forward to hearing your stories about the trip and also how God has been working in your personal spiritual experience during your journey there.

I pray that you all get a good night sleep and recuperate your strength to do it all over again tomorrow with more joy n enthusiasm than ever.

God Bless You All.
Betsy

P. S. Aaron I bet you've been having flashbacks of our trip together to Cercadillo 2 yrs ago. It was fun then and I hope u r having even more fun now that mom is not bugging you :-) Love ya so much.

Hey Eric & Makayla,

We're so excited for what the Lord is doing in you and through you while in the DR. As a ministry, our biggest prayer for you guys is that you would "hear from the Lord" on a sweet & intimate personal level. We're psyched to hear testimonies of how the Lord has been not only Lord of your lives but the Lord of the Dominican Republic.

See you soon; finish strong.

Ademi & Katy

PS: love you Susie!...And Tommy!!

Eric & Makayla! Aaah..you're there again, but this time without the rest of us! But, our prayers are continually there with you and the rest of the team.
I hope the heat isn't killing you Eric! If it is, rejoice in knowing that death in you in bringing life to others! :)
Two full days left, team! Make every moment count! Listen, listen, listen to the Father and as He does, do. As He speaks, speak. Eyes fixed on eternity.
Can't wait to see you all at Quest Celebration. I know there is much to celebrate as His goodness continues to be evident.
Love you Eric, Makayla...Susie, Tommy and Vinetta...and the rest of you lovelies!!!

Prayerfully, Abby

D.R. Team,
I am so super proud of all of you! It's great to hear of all you are doing. It by far was the best journey of my life and I hope you all got the same out of it. This is only the beginning! God will continue to use your in country experience in your back home life. It's an amazing feeling. I pray that God shows you more about the world, yourself, and ultimately, Him in the coming weeks after the trip.

God bless always,

Hola Aaron,

Como estas mi hijo bello? I hope you are doing great n my prayer is that God has touched your life during this trip in such a way that when you come back home everyone can see the glory of God through your testimony. I also pray for the life and salvation of those children and teens whose lives where touched during your trip. And last but not least for missionaries like Ina and all the others serving God all around the world. May the Lord bless them abundantly.

I'm so proud of you Aaron and I love you more than words can say. I can't wait to see you and embarrass you a little by giving you many kisses.

May the Lord bring each one of you home safely.

God Bless You All!
