We started our third day by reading Phillipians 2. This passage of scripture conveys a message of selflessness and paints a picture of how the church should work with one accord toward Christ's glorification. Then we headed out into the much improved weather and back into the beautiful and hectic city. Thank you for your prayers for the better weather!
We first met up with some of our friends who took us to visit some of the local places of worship. The history within the religious establishments opened our eyes to another world; it knocked our socks off. We experienced a labrinth of heavy traffic, vintage architecture, along with a new culture. Over lunch one of us butted heads with a low ceiling, while the rest of us experienced a good laugh and some new foods.
We devoted the afternoon to an architecture museum with artifacts from l0ng ago. We wrapped up the day at dinner with a family that we met today. We are headed to bed now...zzzzzz. (corny)

Aunt Slowey,
I am 1 month old today! Full of smiles, but nothing mum can catch on camera. Speaking of cameras, mum used yours to take some photos of me today, but they're pretty bad. So come home safely and take some better ones, k? Do good work, and play silly games.

SOOOOOO Happy to see Moriah's smiling face in a photo!! Her Mom & I worry about how she is fairing on her first major trip away from home. Hi I just posted a comment but I don't see it so I am going to try again. Moriah I am so happy so happy to see your smiling face. You look like you are having fun. You are missed so much. We are glad the weather is cooperating. We were praying for that among other prayers. We will be going to Walden Pond this week it wont be the same without you. I cried when I saw your picture it made me miss you even more. I would love to be a bug on your back pack to experience all that you are doing. It is so wonderful you can do this. Love Mama
Dare to Climb the Mountain

Many people view the mountain,
But few ever want to climb.
For when you scale the mountain
you must leave the crowd behind.
There's a mountain that God offers
Those who climb it must be true,
Its peak's called full-time service
and it beckons me and you.
Will you dare to climb the mountain
though at times you'll feel alone?
Will you be a missionary,
leave the comfort of your home?
Now the way--it won't be easy--
many folks won't understand.
But there'll be applause in heaven
and the Lord will hold your hand.
You won't hear loud cheers and trumpets
When you tell folks of your plans.
They'll say "Why climb the mountain?"
